Activity and sleep monitor
This activity and sleep tracking watch is optimized for clinical trials, providing insights on real-world physical activity, functional mobility, and sleep. Unlike many smart watches in the market, this product is classified as a class I medical device.
The objective was to redesign the client's activity tracking watch, utilize the legacy watch internal components, maintain the same dimensions, and improve the IP67 water tightness consistency.
I was the lead designer on this project and worked closely with the client to find an aesthetic that fit their intended users, while improving the construction of the product. We also designed a clip on charging doc that improved the user's experience of charging the watch, but it is not offered on their website yet.
